47 percent of applicants to Kansas Wesleyan University were admitted for fall 2018

At Kansas Wesleyan University, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Salina enrolled 741 students in fall 2018, including 667 in undergraduate and 74 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

39 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kansas, and 59 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (61 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 47 percent of the 861 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 36 percent enrolled.
