Clutch Coyotes - Coyotes Score Three Points on Final Hole to Claim KCAC Match Play Title

Kansas Wesleyan's KCAC Match Play finals match against Friends came down to the final hole.

Three match-ups headed to the final hole with their match all-square and by the time it was over, all three matches ended up in the purple column.

Not without plenty of excitement.

Ethan Vikander trailed Sander Fjell by two with three holes left to play and roared back to win his match, hitting a long putt to seal the win.

Landon Berquist's match which had been all square for nine holes before the last, fell into Berquist's hands as he hit a 40-foot putt to win his match.

Trevor Watson also won on the final hole with a long putt to finish in his favor.

It was a huge turn of fortune for the Coyotes who trailed in the match 2-0 as Friends got points in the two other matches. Tyler Tarvin was tripped up 3&1 and Jackson Malone lost 1 UP to Gerardo Alemany of the Falcons.

The victory marks the second time in three years the Coyotes have won the KCAC Match Play event since it moved to Mariah Hills in Dodge City.
