2021 has 3.6% of Saline County residents unemployed

Saline County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.6% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,030 people out of the 54,378 living in Saline County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Saline County has decreased compared to the 4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Saline County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 27,841 people who had a job during that time, 97 were employed in the Armed Forces and 27,744 belonged to the civilian labor force.
